You will not believe what just happened. The painting, "adrift", that I referred to earlier as one that I painted for a second time after it was slashed by another canvas falling on it is now also ruined. I had set it in my dining room on the buffet and meant to hang it later. The door to the deck was opened, the wind blew in, the painting crashed into the dining room chair and now has a hole of its own. Okay, I really lost it this time! I mean screaming, cussing, crying fit. What the heck???? Is this painting cursed? Should I ever paint it again?
I was thinking about my recent art show where I noticed a man totally engaged in this piece for about fifteen minutes. I didn't want to introduce myself,I didn't want to break his intrigue. I just got so much joy out of watching him. Maybe this painting has done its job, maybe it was only meant for that man who will forever remain nameless.
What do you think?
mom, you should repain it again and put your white light around it. maybe that man will be at another art show and he'll buy it. maybe he wants you to paint it again.
